“Medic to Medic supports disadvantaged students in developing countries to complete their training as health workers. We focus our work in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world where we provide support to cover yearly tuition fees, stationery allowances and one-off items including medical equipment, books and laptops, ensuring each individual has everything they need to successfully qualify to serve the impoverished health services in their country. 

We have been part of the Giving Machine since it started and got to hear about the Giving Lottery through the Giving Machine. We joined because it seemed like a great opportunity to raise more money for our organisation and attract different supporters. 

Funds from the Giving Lottery help us raise unrestricted funds which helps boost support for our student community in Malawi. One of our latest projects is to try and raise money to open up an office in Malawi so that we can increase our sustainability and have someone on the ground to troubleshoot student concerns when required.

We would definitely encourage other good causes to get involved in the Giving Lottery! It's been a lot of fun taking part and we know our supporters enjoy it too!”
